Madrid offer David De Gea £12m to see out United contract

Real Madrid know they can save a huge amount of money by waiting another 12 months to land Manchester United outcast David De Gea on a free transfer, and the Spanish giants are looking to make the goalkeeper's wait in the Old Trafford stands a comfortable one.

The Mirror reports that Madrid will offer De Gea a huge £12 million signing-on fee next summer if he sees out the final 12 months of his United contract. That would make up for the smaller contract on offer at the Bernabeu for De Gea, and also represent a far smaller payout for Los Blancos than the £35m in transfer fees that United want.
United seem certain to lose the 24-year-old keeper either this year or the next, so all that remains is whether Madrid make an offer that the Red Devils can't refuse in the next two weeks.

what do you think?
