Columbus Short Was Arrested by Bounty Hunters at His Album Release Party

arrest was due to a failure to appear in court for a domestic violence case, a rep for the Scandal alum told Us, “Columbus Short was arrested last evening, August 18, 2015 by bounty hunters at Universal Studios City Walk in Los Angeles.  His arrest was NOT due to an outstanding warrant as was
erroneously reported.  It appears that this is a citizens arrest as a result of an issue between Mr. Short and his bail bondsman. The reported bail amount of $500,000 is also inaccurate.  No additional information is available at this time.”
