Neymar scored twice as Brazil controlled the United States in a 4-1 win in a friendly on Tuesday in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
The
Americans were outpaced by the five-time World Cup champions in their
final tune-up before the crucial CONCACAF Cup against Mexico in October,
only getting on the scoreboard in second-half stoppage time.
Even
with star forward Neymar starting on the bench, Brazil appeared ready
to begin World Cup qualifying as they pressured the U.S
Neymar made an immediate impact for Brazil when he came on at half-time,
drawing a foul from Geoff Cameron in the box and slamming the resulting
penalty past Brad Guzan to make it 2-0.
Soon after, Rafinha stepped over a pass and Neymar had plenty of time to score at the near post to extend the advantage to 4-0.
